Delivering for a busy golf club in just one day
The Challenge
When a busy members' golf club needed additional storage for its greenkeeping machinery, equipment and consumables, it required a secure, practical solution that could be installed quickly without disrupting daily operations.
With traditional construction proving too costly and time-consuming, converted shipping containers offered an efficient, flexible alternative.
The Solution
Six converted shipping containers were supplied and installed, creating a purpose-built storage facility tailored to the club's needs.
The installation included:
• Two insulated and lined 10ft containers
• Four insulated and boarded 20ft containers, complete with pedestrian access doors
• LED lighting, electrical sockets and heaters throughout
• External electrical connections linking the units to the club's main storage building
The four larger containers were positioned within an open-ended compound, providing easy access for greenkeeping staff and efficient loading of equipment.
Working closely with the club throughout the project, the team provided expert guidance on site preparation, positioning and restricted delivery access, followed by responsive aftersales support.
The Results
The new facility has improved storage capacity, organisation and security, helping the greenkeeping team work more efficiently while supporting compliance with chemical storage regulations and insurance requirements.
Once positioned and connected to the electricity supply, the containers were ready for use within a week.
